If i remenber correctly the SHPOpen() func try to open the .shx coming witth
the shp file as specified
here : http://www.esri.com/library/whitepapers/pdfs/shapefile.pdf

as you can see, all file in the datas folder in my app have their own .sgx
and .dbf... it seems
that the bug is from here ;-)

hmm what so you mean. I need all three files (shp,shx,dbf) to open the shp
file??
at the moment i don't have all this files in the same directory.

Cant test, because havent all here.

ok, it bug but i suspect the fact that the .shx and .dbf are not in the same
directory...

i'm wrong or you already did that ?
