[Shapelib] SHPObject

Hi,
i have a question to the SHPObject class.
If i have a ployline whit 3 points (also two lines), what are the values of
nParts and nVertics?
Because im confused if the nVertics are whit or whitout the startvertex, who
is saved separate in panPartStart.
