[TinyOWS-dev] Error when inserting new feature with TinyOWS

Hi,
Yes I saw that you wrote to the mailing list of MapServer, because I got the message too (I am registered there also) :). But anyway I used the geoserver without changing much in my html code for it. I configured there the layers according the samples and in my code I changed the way of calling the WFS and it seems like it is working pretty well. I will need to check also the editing of the plain data (I had already done it before when using the TinyOWS), and if that works too, I think it should be OK. So in general, now I call the services (WMS, WFS, WFS-T) resided at jetty web server instead of calling the service resided in Apache. Both of them are installed in Windows, so I don't think that in Production I am going to have problems too.
Thanks a lot again...

> With TinyOWS I created a nice application with ASP.NET, which is supposed to handle all the interface of the portal and editing of the plain data, and as for the mapviewer it connects with a proxy in IIS directly to Apache, and then with OpenLayers and TinyOWS. Before saving the feature I updated the feature also with the plain data (other columns of the table in PostGIS) taken from the interface in ASP.NET

I wrote him directly and he told me that he couldn't make it work with Windows, so he had configured the MapServer in a Linux Virtual Machine. But since I have no experience in Linux, I find it too risky to go for that.
