[TinyOWS-users] trouble with tinyows

Hi to All :)

I'm new to this ML.
and to TinyOWS.

I'm try to set it as a WFS Server running as cgi service an a Tomcat only
container (no apache).

To do this.
I have get the source of tinyows from its svn repository and compile it
on a
Linux RedHat ES6 64 bit machine.

All seem compile well.
After this I set the tinyows-config.xml

and configure tomcat to use it as a cgi service.

also the test
tinyows --check
seem to be all ok.

But when I try to call it with a request http:
like this

http://localhost:8080/geoportal/cgi/tinyows?service=wfs&request=GetCapabilities&version=1.0.0

I have an error and the log reporto me only this message:

INFO: cgi-tinyows: runCGI (stderr):Unrecognized character \x7F in column 1
at
/home/archivio/tomcat/tomcat-website/webapps/geoportale/WEB-INF/cgi-tiny/tinyows
line 1.

Is this a know problem ?
