Hi Olivier,

Done. With export TINYOWS_MAPFILE=/usr/local/tinyows/wfst.map, ./tinyows10 --check throws this:

TinyOWS version:   1.0.0rc1
FCGI support:      Yes
Config File Path:  /usr/local/tinyows/wfst.map (Mapfile)
PostGIS dsn:       host=127.0.0.1 user=postgres password=postgres dbname=sandbox port=5432
Output Encoding:   UTF-8
Database Encoding: UTF8
Schema dir:        /usr/local/tinyows/schema
Display bbox:      Yes
Estimated extent:  No
Check schema:      Yes
Check valid geoms: Yes
...

It's weird, I remember to set the TINYOWS_MAPFILEenvironment var before, maybe I forgot to type export.

Thanks, now I will test this version on a Fedora/Apache server with QuantumGIS.

IC Carlos Ruiz

Yeap at least we understand why it does works as you expected.

on command line:
export TINYOWS_MAPFILE=path_to_your_mapfile.map

On Apache should be:
SetEnv TINYOWS_MAPFILE  path_to_your_mapfile.map

Let us know,
