Hi Fred,

as far as I know there is no roles restriction in plugins exportCsv and 
exportHtml (on the contrary of exportPdf - 
http://cartoweb.org/doc/xhtml/user.pdf.html#user.pdf.tutorial.roles).

Concerning roles management in query results I guess that a good 
solution is to use some table rules
http://cartoweb.org/doc/xhtml/dev.newplugin.html#dev.newplugin.special.tables
to add or remove columns depending on the user roles.
