yes it works. What is the JS error message you get?
(Firefox > Tools > "JavaScript Console" gives more details than IE)

Are you sure your CW3 actually calls the view.js file? Check if you have 
  something like
  <script type="text/javascript" src="views/js/views.js"></script>
in your HTML code and that the file is available for a browser.
If not try a "php cw3setup.php --install ...".
