Hi Paul,

did you do again a php cw3setup.php --install ?
to be on the safe do, also do a cw3setup.php --clean in command line and a reset_session (http://localhost/yourproject/client.php?project=yourproject&reset_session)

Oliver

  Subject: [Cartoweb-users] ClientCheckInstall plugin

  Hi,

  I'm still getting the error below after removing the 'checkInstall' folder and 'checkInstall' word from 'client.ini.in'. I think that i may not be updating the files correctly:-

  An exception in early stage occured:
object(CartocommonException)#46 (7) {
  ["msg:private"]=>
  string(39) "Couldn't load plugin ClientCheckInstall"
  ["message:protected"]=>
  string(467) "Couldn't load plugin ClientCheckInstall
Backtrace:

file: 552 - c:\wamp\www\cartoweb3\client\Cartoclient.php
call: PluginManager->loadPlugins(Array(5), Object(Cartoclient))

file: 362 - c:\wamp\www\cartoweb3\client\Cartoclient.php
call: Cartoclient->initializePlugins()

file: 36 - c:\wamp\www\cartoweb3\htdocs\client.php
call: Cartoclient->__construct()

file: 3 - c:\wamp\www\cartoweb3\htdocs\Paul.php
call: require_once("c:\wamp\www\cartoweb3\htdocs\client.php")

Just to clarify... the <php-interpreter> on the windows command line is typed as:c:\wamp\php\php.exe cw3setup.php --install --base-url http://localhost/cartoweb3/htdocs
 Question 1. On windows do i have to be in 'php' directory to use the <php-interpreter>? if so do i then just enter cw3setup.php --install etc at the command prompt? Question 2. On Mac OS X the interpreter is in '/usr/local/php5/bin' do i have to navigate to 'bin' then type... '
cw3setup.php --install etc etc at the command prompt? OR is 'cw3setup.php' executed from within the 'Cartoweb3' Root on both Mac and PC? I think this may be where i'm going wrong because i'm not sure what is meant to happen if the
cw3setup.php is successfully executed. Many thanks in advance. Paul Shapley
