Hi
I just tried to access the wms service and I get an error 500 with some java exception. Are you sure this service is working ?
the cartoweb error itself indicate something went wrong when Cartoweb generated the related wms layer icon. The code tried to generate a .png files but failed to recover the image size. I can only presume the icon image was not generated correctly or it is unreadable.
you could print out the value of $iconAbsolutePath (in coreplugins/layers/server/LayersInitProvider.php) and try to see if you can find this file on your server and see if it looks correct or not.
This is only a supposition but maybe the wms service did not return a valid image.
regards
Oliver

Subject: [Cartoweb-users] WMS loading failure
Some WMS layers load fine in my application, however I am getting a failure when trying to load other's, specifically http://map.ngdc.noaa.gov:80/servlet/com.esri.wms.Esrimap?servicename=nei99_v3
my error is:
CartoWeb version: 3.4.0 [$Revision: 1.7 $]class: SoapFaultWrappermessage: Error [2, getimagesize(): Read error!, /opt/cartoweb3/coreplugins/layers/server/LayersInitProvider.php, 275]Backtrace:file: UNKNOWN - UNKNOWNcall: Common::cartowebErrorHandler(2, "getimagesize(): Read error!", "/opt/cartoweb3/coreplugins/layers/server/LayersInitProvider.php", 275, Array(12))file: 275 - /opt/cartoweb3/coreplugins/layers/server/LayersInitProvider.phpcall: getimagesize("/opt/cartoweb3/htdocs/generated/icons/canopy/canopy/US Urban Are...")The same WMS loads up just fine in my proprietary GIS.Thanks, Ben
