Hi

1) on windows, you can use hashcalc (http://www.slavasoft.com/hashcalc/index.htm)
simply check the md5 checkbox, type the password in the input field at the top and click on the "calculate" button

2)
check that:
a) the layer in the mapfile has the correct data source
b) the layer name is correct in your layers.ini
c) the mapid is correct in your client.ini, the mapid is the name used for the folder cartoweb3/projects/*yourproject*/server_conf/*mapid*/...
usualy the mapid is the same as the projet name

also, you must know what is the map extent for your data (min x, min y, max x, max y).
Set the correct extent in the mapfile AND if you have a mapInfo.initialMapStates.default.location.bbox = ... in your cartoweb3/projects/*yourproject*/server_conf/*mapid*/*mapid*.ini file, remove it.

regards
Oliver
