Hi Aaron,

you could do this by copy paste from the Locate widget php code (the 
javascript callback function is in there).

Easier option is to use the widget also in a normal way in your template, 
and comment it with HTML comments. The javascript interface of the widget 
will come into the template, but you won't see the widget in there.

If I have the time I will set up a demo to download for people in the next 
few days.
