[Chameleon] Problems displaying

Stephan,

I suspect that you have a projection problem.  The chameleon sample 
applications (or some of them at least) use a custom epsg code.  Try 
replacing your existing epsg file with the following:

http://www.maptools.org/dl/proj4-epsg-with-42xxx.zip

The other thing you can try is to get the URL of the broken image and 
paste it into your browser.  The map image is produced from a php script 
and often the cause of the problem is actually visible if the image is 
loaded directly rather than as part of an <img> tag.

You can sometimes get the correct URL by right clicking on the map 
image.  If not, in mozilla-based browsers, you can open a 'Page Info' 
(ctrl-i or Tools->Page Info in firefox) and check the media tab.  You 
are looking for an image that has a src that points to drawmap.php - 
there might be two or three of these, they represent the keymap and 
scalebar in addition to the map.  You may have to try each of them to 
find the map url
