[Chameleon] more wms code questions

Hi..
 
I've been poking more into finding out how to add SLD capabailities to a
map session.  
 
What is the style.dbf used for?  It's located in the wmscache directory
of my application.  It's empty.  I've applied an SLD to a layer in my
app and it wasn't affected.
