Hi,
I am assuming you write the session id with php and you have included
include("../session.inc.php");
then you can do something like this to get the session id (it will output
sid= as well).
mypopup.phtml?<?php echo SID ?>
The Locate widget is the correct one to find a place. But it is configured
for a geocoding/gazetteer service in Canada, but you can change it to use
a different geocoder/gazetteer (we did so for Netherlands). Not the most
easy task to start with though.
There have also been other people on this list who made a similar thing
based on a shapefile with locations or something like that. We use a
geocoder service over http (XML communication).
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Bart
