[Chameleon] PrintProduction problems

Hi,

I've been having a lot of problems with the PrintProduction widget recently
- something seems to be bailing out, in the middle of the page load, so
basically I just end up with half the page on the screen (often ending with
something like "<table=" and then nothing else, or something similar). This
is an intermittent issue, and the Apache error log comes out with an error,
but it's entirely uninformative:

I'm using a relatively standard MS4W setup, and although there's other stuff
running on the server, I can't see any obvious reason why this might be
happening.

Before I dive into the murky depths of checking all the Apache/PHP timeout
settings, has anyone else come across this? Does anyone have any bright
ideas where I should be looking?
