[Chameleon] problem accessing CVS

hi team,

this must be really a trivial question but anyway,...

i am having trouble accessing CVS and i am sitting behind a proxy and a firewall
i tried using WinCVS but am simply not able
the command i am using is as follows

cvs -d :pserver;proxy=192.168.245.1;proxyport=2222;proxyuser=smj;proxypassword=****:cvsanon at cvs.maptools.org:/cvs/maptools/cvsroot
co chameleon

and the response i get is as follows:
cvs [checkout aborted]
please tell me if i am missing something
