Check your searchresults.phtml file. I suspect you did not update that
one.
I wrote that error message for the old version, but I can guarantee you
that it no longer exists in the latest (PostGIS compatible) version.
That's because only the old version bypassed the MapServer query system,
and physically tried to open the shapefile (for a record count). Perhaps
you are pointing to an old code-base somehow.
