[Chameleon] locatebyattribute problem..

Hi Zye,
The zipfile I sent you yesterday is definitely correct. Perhaps
something is wrong with the software you used to unzip it.
However, in the meantime I have made other updates to the widget, to
allow a normal button (using the Chameleon button and Popup mechanisms),
as opposed to the previous (primitive) popup mechanism that I put in.
Please be aware that to use it, you MUST change the widget definition in
the template (see how_to_use.txt for an example).
The latest version is in CVS. If you can't access CVS, I put a copy of
it here:
http://geo.maunsell.com/chameleonaus/widgets/LocateByAttribute/LocateByA
ttribute.zip
<http://geo.maunsell.com/chameleonaus/widgets/LocateByAttribute/LocateBy
Attribute.zip>
Use this file, overwrite previous files, and look in how_to_use.txt for
a new widget definition to be used in the template.
regards,
Jacob

Hi Jacob,
I still have a problem..
maybe something goes wrong in my searchresults.phtml.
can u send me the updated one..
Why the CVS folder in locatebyattribute widget that u
sent to me yesterday is empty?
and how to access to CVS?is there a place to get updated
code?
thanks..
Check your searchresults.phtml file. I suspect you did
not update that
one.
I wrote that error message for the old version, but I
can guarantee you
that it no longer exists in the latest (PostGIS
compatible) version.
That's because only the old version bypassed the
MapServer query system,
and physically tried to open the shapefile (for a record
count). Perhaps
you are pointing to an old code-base somehow.

Jacob
