[Chameleon] Re extract the feature with in the buffer

Hi

1*I have successfully created the Buffer using $shape = $shape->buffer($shape). My problem is to extract all the feature that comes with in the buffer i have created. So i have plan to use querybyshape($shape) but no feature is extracted.. How can i solve this problem. Is my approach is correct. If any one have solve it. Plz send me the logic. By the way how can i send the value of the buffer dynamically. 

2* Is it possible to save the roi line that we have created.
