Hi Steve,
another issue with libstdc++.
for Fedora Core 5, you need to install :
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/5/i386/os/Fedora/RPMS/compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3-55.fc5.i386.rpm
(you should remove the symlink you did before)
