[FGS] Can I to Installer FSG Linux on Mandrake 9.2 for testing
purposes?

It should work. You can test it to be sure. Here is a step by step
example to test it easily. (You don't need to be logged as root)
$ wget http://www.maptools.org/dl/fgs/self-installers/fgs-
mapserver_phpmapscript_4.6.2-1.0-linux-i386.bin
$ sh ./fgs-mapserver_phpmapscript_4.6.2-1.0-linux-i386.bin
[default options should be fine]
$ cd fgs
$ . setenv.sh
$ fgs install gmap-demo:1.0.0 http://www.maptools.org/fgs/dl/modules
$ fgs start
If you point your browser on :
http://localhost:8080/gmap-demo/
or (where X.Y.Z.W is the address of your server)
http://X.Y.Z.W:8080/gmap-demo/
you should see the GMAP demo.
