[FGS] gd build failure on centos 5

Hi, just a note for others that may run into this issue in the future.

GD fails to build on CentOS 5 because it fails to find a macro  
AM_ICONV - I found this reference:

I then proceeded to manually run configure, followed by make twice (as  
suggested), followed by ./fgs_install and the remainder of fgs-dev  
built smoothly.
