[FGS] security installing FGS as root vs FGS as a regular user

Hello,

I was advised that installing FGS as a "regular desktop user" is more secure
than installing FGS as the root user. However, once installed, doesn't FGS
run under "apache" which is a limited user account, and therefore making FGS
"safe." I would prefer to use port 80 as it is the standard webserver port.
But, I do not want to open up security risks on my machine.

Thanks
