[FWTools] GDAL and OpeNDAP

I am trying to get information on the resent capabilities of GDAL if  
it has ben OpeNDAP enabled.  My questions are:

1.  Can it handle all OpeNDAP types, in particular sequences as  
returned by databases, or just  grids.

2.  For grids, is the request still limited to 2 dimensions or can a  
higher dimension request be made.

If this is the wrong place to be asking, can you point me to the  
correct place?
