[FWTools] gdalenhance?

Hi,

I see there is a gdalenhance tool in the latest FWTools distribution for
windows.  It looks like it will do image enhancement.  I tried using the
-stddev option but it doesn't seem to work.  I've been unable to find any
documentation online.  Is this a fully functioning utility?
