[FWTools] HDF5 support on linux

I've got an HDF5 file that is recognized on win FWTools, but not linux.  Is
HDF5 supported on linux?  I can't seem to find documentation regarding this
anywhere.

Using linux version 2.06:

gdalinfo test.h5
ERROR 4: `test.h5' not recognised as a supported file format.

gdalinfo failed - unable to open 'test.h5'.
