[FWTools] Starting with FWTools

Hi,

 I am new to FWTools however i have programmed with
Python before. I wanted to experiement with FWTools
especially working with OGR.

I was thinking of creating a simple shapefile viewer
for a start. I searched for a tutorial but couldnt
find anything that's helpful.

Can anyone guide me as to where to start and point me
to any resource that may help me to get started.
