Hi List,
At OOS Tech we identified the need for a place that we could share
information and experiences, ask questions and so on. I have started a
Community Forum page on the SURA twiki
(http://twiki.sura.org/bin/view/Main/WebHome) and hopefully this will
satisfy at least some of our requirements. Please take a minute or two
to have a look at it. There are contributions from a few different
people, and hopefully this will become a dynamic and useful information
source. This is supposed to be a starting point, not a finished product.
The only way it will grow and become really useful is if people
contribute. So please feel free to contribute content, comments,
suggestions (positive and constructively negative) and anything else you
think would help. http://twiki.sura.org/bin/view/Main/ComunityForum
For those of you who are just trying to get your heads wrapped around
the OGC and the various protocols I have written up a very brief, very
basic summary on the OGC 101 page in the Community Forum.
http://twiki.sura.org/bin/view/Main/OGC101 Its intentionally simplistic
and it isn't detailed for that reason. I hope this will help to
demystify the OGC a bit and make it understandable. Feel free to comment
on this stuff too, or jump in and edit the page yourself.
Have a good weekend everyone!
Dean
