Tim, it works for me with a couple of oddities ... 

1) I specified -m <name> but it went on to do the other maps in my config.php file

2) at one particular scale, it calculated the same number of meta tiles as the previous scale:

  Scale: 12000000
    Meta tiles: 3 x 2 = 6
    Tiles: 3 x 2 x 6 x 6 = 216
    Group: __base__

  Scale: 7500000
    Meta tiles: 3 x 2 = 6
    Tiles: 3 x 2 x 6 x 6 = 216
    Group: __base__

I guess this could be right but I am a bit suspicious :)
