Thanks for your comment: obviously there was a clerical error in the example.

I'm not sure I understand your question. To plot point on the map I
actually use createDrawingCanvas() and addObjectGeo() and I use a
setInterval, instead of setTimeount, to update points. I don't use
updateObjects: I think I could use it to display points in the updated
position. Is that? To do that I use shiftObject() on each point: my
knowledge of kaMap and JavaScript is not so good to decide what's the
best solution.

I apologise if I misunderstand your question.
