Paul is it possible that yesterday CVS version ok kalegend have some
bugs?

With Andrea we had to change some lines to see the legends images.

1) server.url
it seems that kamap.initialize() does not end before kalegend object is
instantiated so kalenged.urlBase results empty ('/').
we copied lines 52 & 53 in kalegend.draw() and the url became available.

2) legend image
it seems nowhere the image is appended in the DOM. It is created but not
appended.
we wrote in line 308
d.append( img );
