what do you mean for complex queries?

have you seen last CVS version?
have a look to this post:

the query system is actually of general purpose so it just offers a  
simple output.

Hilite system will soon be integrated.

complex query could be implemented editing the map_query_foat.php  
file and some parts of the interface.
some files can maybe be renamed or moved in the future.
