[ka-Map-users] IE broken images

Ed,

Our IT guys suspect it may be a policy rolled down from our US office,
implemented by someone not considering negative impacts. The reason it
crashes my server is that it requests too many tiles at once. Especially
before the changes in ka-map that prevent loading of invisible layers,
it would try to get 160 tiles at once (mostly high-res full-colour). If
those requests were sent simultaneously, rather than sequentially, then
IE itself can get messed up, but the server as well. I'm not using your
kind of hardware :)
Our internal server is a pc (3.2GHz, 1GB), running XP (not Windows
Server). I'm quite sure that that is the reason why the internet
standard is 2. I think firefox uses 24 by default.

Regards,

Jacob
