My suggestion:

saying it better:

1) use firefox and always have a look to Javascript Console.

2) If some error occurs while you modify ka-map  try to solve one by  
one.

3) When you are happy of an enhancement try it with IE and Safari,  
don't go further until you've tested.

4) eventually show us something as we can evaluate errors directly.
