try a search string (es: Spain, or whatever state name)

search results as this:

Show point  |   match name

clicking on "show point" you'll have a tooltip with all relative data  
inside.
clicking on "match name" (es: Spain)  you'll have a zoomToExtent to  
the polygon or point os whatelse...


Next: connection with query system.
