I was expecting you to try... :-)
To be honest it is not in my priorities and, sadly, not in my client  
priorities.
If you have time to try and contribute some code I promise to test it  
and include it in CVS.

I'll probably include  Stéphane RIFF code (thanks Stephane!) for the  
Ruler.

Router is a demo application and need a very precise configuration so  
it cannot be added as general purpose code. It uses a Postgresql/ 
postgis direct connection to operate and also requires some module  
from http://www.orkney.jp/postlbs-cms/ to be compiled and set up.  
More over data has to be prepared as needed to work with routing  
functions.

I'm not planning to include Buffer at the moment. Not that easy.
This could be one of first contribution that the osgeo web mapping  
project can jointly add as module for webmap.js, we'll have to wait a  
while.
