choosing a PHP version or another can depend on many factors

the big difference for ka-Map is the DOM class that in PHP4 was DOMXML 
and in PHP5 is named DOM and actually is best implemented.
you can easily change the sintax of the few files in ka-map that use DOM 
to adapt them to php4.
