[ka-Map-users] Customizing search system

Hi list, 
I need to customize the search system in ka-map to obtain a sort of "filter
by attribute" search.
Do you know the "Search for" function in pmapper? Well, I need something
similar...

By running one of the pmapper demos you can see what I mean:

There's someone in the list that have already done something like this?
I suppose I have to modify the KaSearch.php. The question is how?
