[ka-Map-users] Accessing attribute tables as labels for features

Hai,

   Thanks for ur response, but, I tried this earlier. The layer description
from my mapfile is given below:

LAYER
  GROUP "GenFac"
   NAME genfac
   TYPE POINT
   STATUS OFF
   DATA "mydata/genfac.shp"
   LABELCACHE ON
   LABELITEM discr
   CLASS
     NAME "GenFac"
     STYLE
       SYMBOL "star"
       SIZE 10
       COLOR 000 165 255
     END
   END
 END
-------------------------
The corresponding attribute table field for the genfac.shp is discr. The
contents  in the attribute table field "discr" is not seems visible. Where I
really missed?  Anything else should I setup in mapfile, or in any other
files?
