[maplab-users] few problems trying to configure maplab

<DIV>I am trying to set up the maplap for the webserver for the department of land conservationa and developement, however there are a few problems that I can't solve and was hoping maybe you could help me.&nbsp; </DIV>

<DIV>in the installation information section, everything appears to be alright and checked,</DIV>
<DIV>however, I get these error messages when trying to work with maplab:</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>

<DIV>when trying to edit the XML Files throught the web, <BR>the following warning shows up and the changes don't take place: </DIV>
<DIV>Warning: fopen("maplab.xml", "w") - <BR>Permission denied in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\CoastalAtlas\tools\maplab\maplab-2.0rc1\common\appcontext\appcontext.php on line 550</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>when trying to create a new map file, the following error message shows up,<BR>it appears that the program somehow puts an extra / before test.map</DIV>
<DIV>Error Parsing test.map <BR>Description <BR>error saving map to C:/Inetpub/wwwroot/CoastalAtlas/tools/maplab/maplab-2.0rc1//test.map in /tools/maplab/maplab-2.0rc1/htdocs/mapedit/action.phtml <BR>&nbsp;<BR>when trying to preview the demo map I get the following warning: (however, I&nbsp;see the tools and the preview)<BR>&nbsp; <BR>Warning: Unlink failed (Permission denied) in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\CoastalAtlas\tools\maplab\maplab-2.0rc1\htdocs\mapedit\preview.php on line 264</DIV>

<DIV>The permission to the appropriate directories are set to be read and writable.</DIV>
