Well you should have had a 'welcome to the maplab users mailing list' 
message after subscribing... This messages gives you the following adress:

Here you can click on a 'search the maplab mailing list' or go to the 
archive and browse trough it. However, the search facility seems to be 
broken, so you should just go to the archives. To make things easy, you
