Steve, I tested with your mapfile and data, and I could not reproduce any errors. As Paul mentioned there were some projection issues early on that we dealt with, and maybe it was fixed magically along the way. I tested on IE 6 and Netscape 4.79, and I used the latest dev version from the MapLab download page (http://www2.dmsolutions.ca/webtools/maplab/maplab_dl.html). So hopefully by upgrading to the latest development version your problems will disappear. Let us know how it goes.
