This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_0174_01C2BF0C.CA8805E0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hi Jay, regarding the detail of the data it much depends in what country you = are. if you're in USA you're fine and you should be after tiger road data = amongst others. if you're in europe you could track down some ESRI = european data that might be available from their site. there's always the DCW. There's www.gisdatadepot.com and other places to = get that from. low quality data though - more suited for national = mapping than a town. you could always approach the local authority as they might be able to = help too - if your application has a social benefit (you just got to = persuade them) tell me more about the requirements and i might be able to help more. Try searching the GIS usenet group - through google groups maybe for = wider discussions on net mapping. though i'm stunned by maplab so you're = in the right place.
