Actually the multiple slashes aren't the problem. Check to see if your
http owner (e.g. apache) has write permission to /var/www/maplab. It
sounds like it doesn't.

Subject: [maplab-users] "Can't create file name" error in Maplab
2.0-dev20030728

Greetings,

Apologies if this has been asked before. I couldn't find a solution in
the archives.

I'm using Maplab 2.0-dev2003728 with MapServer 3.6. I have everything
installed and can use the tutorial with no problems.

When I try to create a map, I get the following error:

'Can't create file name (/var/www/maplab////test.map"

Obviously, the problem is the "////" in the file path. How do I fix
this?

Thank you.
Jason Ruiter
