[maplab-users] file picker app starting in wrong directoryMatt Doggett mdoggett@coas.oregonstate.eduWed, 14 May 2003 08:44:35 -0700

Well, I rebooted my server, deleted my installation of MapLab, then re-installed MapLab and I still get the same thing....the file picker app always opens the "browser" in the htdocs/common directory and I can't browse 'up' to where my mapfile is located. I even went through the steps to compile and re-install php and mapserver but to no avail. I get the same behavior in both IE (on my Win2k) and Mozilla (on my Linux) so I know it's not a browser/client thing. In addition, I can't even create a new mapfile as I get an error (Can't create "/home/mistral////test.map"). So, in short, my MapLab installation is basically worthless....I can't do anything with it. I have no clue as to what's happening here. It worked just fine on Monday. Any ideas out there? Md (RedHat8.0, Apache2.0, Mapserver 3.6.4, Php4.2.3)
