[maplab-users] passing parameters to map

Hi List,
 
I would like people to be able to check the location of a grid reference that they have entered into an access database on a maplab map which uses rosa. The idea is that they enter the grid reference in the database, press a submit button and this opens up the web browser with the location of their grid reference zoomed to and highlighted. I can pass parameters to the map by creating the url from variables in the database, but am not having much luck changing the bounding box from it's initial extent. I have searched the mailing lists and can see how it would be done without rosa but I'm stuck for how to do it with.
