[Mapserver-west] Mapserver using java / Tomcat

Hi,
I want to implement a mapserver in a java / Tomcat environment.
With the mapscript library I can open a map file, create an image etc.
Now I have to get some GML Messages from another application to show some 
labels and markers.
I am looking for some helpful documentation pages.
