[ms4w-users] Install on Win2000

Greetings,
I need help trying to install apache, when I click the install-apache.bat
this is the message I get:
 
(OS 10048)Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network
address/port)
is normally permitted.  : make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:80
no listening sockets available, shutting down
Unable to open logs
The service name is invalid.
 

 

I did try using

netstat.exe

but port 80 was not listed anywhere, so I assume that it is not in use by
anything. But I could be looking at the wrong thing, I just looked for the
number 80.

I am running windows 2000.

I downloaded the most recent ms4w as of today.

It is unpacked in C:\ms4w
