[ms4w-users] SDE and UNICODE

Hi All,

 

                Hopefully someone has come across this problem before and
will have a nice quick fix for me.

 

                As you probably know ArcSDE 9.2 stores text attributes as
nvarchar's (UNICODE) and mapserver has a lot of problems displaying them.

 

                Is there some special way I need to import the data?  I have
tried various things like;-

 

ALTER TABLE MapServer ALTER COLUMN Stand VARCHAR(3)

 

                To change them back to normal but nothing seems to work.
