[MS4W-Users] Will ecw come back some day?

Hi,
 
I upgraded to MS4W beta 7 and Mapserver v. 5.6.0 and noticed that my ecw source images do not work any longer.  Seems to be due to http://bugzilla.maptools.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2037
 
Will ecw support come back ever?
